    I’m terrible with names … fictional names … even worse

    I am good at some things, but of all my weaknesses, remembering names is one of my greatest. I have to see a person over and over, talk to them, get to know them and then maybe I’ll have the chance of remembering their name. Even then, sometimes, my brain completely blanks out when it comes to using their name. It’s just embarrassing. Fortunately, when you read a book, it’s OK if you forget someone’s name, until there are many of them right at the beginning of the story.
